Denon DR-M10 cassette deck power supply

I have a Denon DR-M10 cassette deck.
When I press play, it  stops after 2 or 3 seconds
no matter what cassette I use.
Don't what it could be.

Hi, 

If the head always goes up to its normal position and the spindle rotates, then the assist motor belt is probably good. This problem can be caused by the rotary switch of the program dial position sensor. It is most likely a bad contact.

Hi!
First, you should check whether the fast winding works in both directions and whether the counter works at the same time.
The most likely fault is the aging of the rubber belt.
